Professional baseball is played each year in Jackson in a jewel of a setting known as Pringles Park. Completed in 1998, Pringles Park is home to the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx, a class AA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners that competes in the home of the sports' future stars, the Southern League. Built with an eye toward the fan, the park can seat up to 6,000 for a baseball game and up to 7,200 for concerts.

The $8-million stadium just completed a large makeover that makes it even more appealing to baseball fans and concert goers. Improvements include comfortable stadium seats for over 80% of the fans, a covered picnic pavillion on the third base side and a redesigned first base side terraced berm for extra seating. Additional restrooms were added on the lower concourse level.

Pringles Park offers a box office, on-site security, full catering and concession service, concert power and parking for 2500.

Significant events at Pringles Park include a Chicago Cubs exhibition game and concerts featuring Vince Gill, Darryl Worley, Steppenwolf, the Charlie Daniels Band, Amy Grant, .38 Special, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.
